Practical Information

We are an ecological camp in the forest near a beautiful lake with clean water. We minimize as much as possible our impact on the surrounding nature to offer you a unique experience outside of modern life.

Each booking includes: free use of the lake and the canoes, and free private sessions at the sauna, and the shower with warm water.

As you are on an eco-camp, please note that:

• you do not necessarily have all the amenities of modern life.
• we limit the washing, so except in the wigwams you have one-time bed sheets, but you can rent linens.

  • The tents are lit with candle lamps and heated with wood. We supply the wood.
  • Each tent has a can of 20 liters of water from our source, which you can refill according to your needs.
  • We do not use chemicals, and ask you to try and do the same, the quality of the lake water depends on it.

Food and Cooking

We provide plates and cutlery, a pan and a frying pan to cook on fire. Each tent has a firepit for cooking and barbecues.

If you do not know how to make a fire, we will be happy to help. We can also teach you how to make a fire without a match or lighter.

The dishes are done with the tent water barrel with organic soap.

You can order a breakfast basket or a dinner basket:

Breakfast basket: home made sourdough bread, butter, jam, ham, cheese, fruit juice, cereal, coffee or tea. We bring it to you at your chosen time between 7.30 and 10.30. 200 kr/pers

Dinner basket: Coleslaw, sausages that you cook yourself on the fire pit, baked potatoes, homemade bread, dessert. We bring it to you at your chosen time. 350 kr/pers

Payment when you arrive, cash or Swish.

We work with local producers, and most of the products are organic.

A convenience store is 15 km from the camp in Friggesund. Legislation does not allow us to sell alcohol, do not hesitate to bring your own beers, bottle of wine or alcohol.

Recycling

Sweden recycles 96% of its waste, and so do we.
Sorting bins are installed near the “Food Cache” on the camp, and each tent has several bins to sort: cans and plastic bottles (pant), plastic wrappings, and compostable food waste.
